Public health physician specialising in improving population health and equity with expertise in:

  • Translational research to ensure that research findings inform the development of policy and programmes to improve population health and equity;
  • Longitudinal epidemiological analysis of the developmental pathways that lead to health and wellbeing and equity across the life course;
  • Vulnerable populations;
  • Ethnicity data collection, analysis and interpretation;
  • Māori and Pacific health and wellbeing;
  • The broader determinants of health;
  • Research ethics and the relationship between community and research practise.
